Introduction
In this module we will explore the إِسْمٌ. It is a مُفْرَدٌ(كَلِمَةٌ).

We will discuss إِسْمٌ categories and properties.
Pronouns being إِسْمٌ will also be discussed for the first time.

إِسْمٌ [Ism] refers to a person, place, thing, idea, adjective and adverb.
The plural for إِسْمٌ is أَسْمَاءُ .
Examples:
- Person: “رَجُلٌ” (a man)
- Place: “مَدْرَسَةٌ” (a school)
- Thing: “كِتَابٌ” (a book)
- Idea: “عَدَالَةٌ” (justice)
- Adjective: “كَبِيرٌ” (big)
- Adverb: “سَرِيعًا” (quickly)

- ٱلله : Allah
- ٱلَّذِى : the one who
- رَب : lord
- مَن : who/the one who/ whoever
- ذَٰلِكَ : that/that is
- أَرْضُ : earth
- يَوْم : day
- قَوْم : people/nation
- آيَة / ءَايَة : sign
- ّكُل : every/each/all
