Sound
- The hamza (هَمْزَة) can be pronounced as “a,” “i,” or “u,” depending on the vowel that comes with it. The vowel tells us exactly how the hamza should sound.
- The sound comes from the lower throat.
- Air is briefly stopped, then released.
