Question Words for جُمْلَةِ فِعْلِيَّةِ
A جُمْلَةِ فِعْلِيَّةِ can easily be made into a question by introducing words in front of it. These question words are called أَدَواتُ الإِسْتِفْهامِ, for example:
كَتَبَتْ زَيْنَبُ

Below are some of the question words (أَدَواتُ الإِسْتِفْهامِ) that can be used to ask questions. Notice that the جُمْلَةِ فِعْلِيَّةِ does not change.

Because a past-tense (اَلْفِعْلُ الْمَاضِيُّ) is being used, the question is translated in past-tense using the word ”did”.
Below is an example using present-tense ( اَلْفِعْلُ الْمُضَارِعُ).
